Gerard de Nooij has a spinal cord injury (T4)

Gerard has a thoracic spinal cord injury at level T4. He is very happy with the BerkelBike, and talks about it in this video. He says that, although he also has a regular hand bike, he prefers the hand bike/recumbent bike combination of the BerkelBike because it is much better for his physical fitness. Gerard uses the BerkelBike Connect, which can be coupled to his wheelchair.
